Thank you for creating this resource
I’ve been trying to manually keep track of my seeds and seedlings on both paper and Microsoft excel and haven’t any luck with discipline of following through with it.
We live in Australia and have a small 5acre property that we will grow cut flowers on. The main focus will be Australian native plants but also plan on plenty many different types of annuals and perennials with Paper Daisies working really well for us. Also looking at using some of the space to grow some vegetables
Thank you for developing and sharing this with everyone as I believe this will be a life changer for us. I’m 5 days post Spinal surgery so can’t do much at the moment but excited for what the next 6-12 months will bring.
Hey there,
Thanks for the feedback! I built this because I could never really get on board with spreadsheets myself! I like to have everything in one place.
Always incredible to hear it's being used on the other side of the world! And on a huge plot compared to our 300sqm plot!
If you have any ideas to make life easier in planning then feel free to pass them my way - I'm keen to make this a super useful resource to help planning and tracking.
Best of luck with the recovery!
Thank you for the well wishes. In a way it’s a blessing as it was the tipping point for me to stop working and focus more on the flowers. It’s a great experience, especially with kids aged 7 and 9, to watch the lifecycle of the flowers from seeds to making arrangements. Throw in some vegetables and we will have it all sorted.
Haven’t really got too many tips at this stage. I’m about 10 years into a trial and error stage. But my “garden beds” are essentially all going to be set up with automatic irrigation and tap timers. I’ve learnt that the drip watering makes an enormous difference in the health of the flowers.
I’m about to do 16 seed trays today with all different types of flowers so I’ll get to use the site to its full potential. I’ll be sure to share it with our followers as the time goes on.
Looking forward to posting pictures as the months roll on
