These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SeedSort. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

SeedSort is a web-based gardening planner that allows users to manage seeds, track sowings, plan growing spaces, and participate in community features.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • Ensuring your information is accurate

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Teams & Shared Access

SeedSort may allow users to collaborate within shared spaces ("teams").

  • The team owner is responsible for managing access and permissions
  • Users invited to a team may view or edit shared data depending on their role
  • We are not responsible for actions taken by other team members
  • Data entered into shared teams is considered part of the team workspace and may be managed, modified, or exported by the team owner.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes
  • Upload or share harmful, abusive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to access data that does not belong to you
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the data and content you upload (including notes, images, and plans).

When content is added to a shared team, it becomes part of the team workspace and may be accessed, modified, or managed by other team members in accordance with their permissions.

By using SeedSort, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display this content in order to provide the service.

You are responsible for the content you upload.

6. Subscriptions

Some features of SeedSort are available through a paid subscription.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly
  • You can cancel at any time
  • Access to premium features continues until the end of the billing period

We may change pricing or features with reasonable notice.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Paddle’s checkout terms and policies.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time unless required by law
  • If a charge is made in error, contact us and we will review it

9. Availability & Changes

We aim to keep SeedSort available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

  • Modify features
  • Add or remove functionality
  • Perform maintenance

10. Data & Backups

We take reasonable steps to protect your data and maintain backups.

However, we do not guarantee that data will never be lost or corrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

SeedSort is provided “as is”.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Indirect or consequential damages

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
