I've just placed an order for my first 2 bare root hop plants: Chinook and Cascade.

I'm very new to growing hops with this year being the first year of trying. I tried to pick some complimentary varieties to hopefully try my hand at brewing somewhere along the line. They'll be going on our allotment where we have some upright structures between beds that they can grow up.

Have you grown hops before? Any tips for success?
